This trade is not worth it

2024-02-19

I am exchanging my life, my time, the one thing I cannot get back for money.

Where the fuck did february and january go?

This feels my fuck it moment.

If I want to ride, I have to work. I work and get money, no time left to ride.

I ride and don’t work as much, the money is gone, and I cannot maintain my bike.

This is bullshit. This tradeoff is not work it. I come back to India, post internship, with enough money to sustain at least a year, 2 if I am frugal.

This idea initially came when Siddha suggested starting an EV venture. I said I’ll come post internship to make it happen, and realized I have nothing to lose. I can always resume my course later, I will always have these college credits with me. I can come back later, I anything, when applying to other colleges, namely in the USA, my Common App essay will be epic. I tried to go pro, I tried to create a business and now I am here.

Siddha gave perspective as to what I would do if I were not afraid. IF Siddha and I were doing an EV venture, I knew we would keep at it until it succeeds, meaning it would earn or we’d sell the business for some amount. So if I could not fail, I would go back home and start a business.

That is what I will do. I will put so much effort that it becomes impossible not to succeed.

Right now, 3 business ideas:

  1. Electric scooter - if Siddha wants to do it

  2. automate operations for tourism business and keep a portion of what I save them

  3. SMMA - social media marketing agency - run facebook ads, get clients, sell the clients so they end up in shops. I am thinking dentists in mumbai.

I think if I were to lock myself in a room for a year, and only do Business+Gym, I would earn enough to sustain myself. I see others doing it. I can too.

Hamza went from nothing to something, so did Hormozi, so did Charlie, so did Alex Becker. I can too.

I just have to become the person that does it.

Maybe I will change my mind once I get the cast off.

Maybe I will get promoted enough where money is no longer that much of a bottleneck by the time I end my internship. but for now, this is what I am thinking.

Charlie Morgan’s YT and his hour long videos are like sam ovens, its like success brainwashing.
